About this class

Rhino Improv Level 2 Led by veteran acting teacher Maria Vail, this class reinforces the skills learned in Level 1 and builds upon them. Concepts explored are ‘endowment”, emotional choices, object work and scene structure, Improvisors who completed Rhino Level 1 are welcomed to sign up. Improvisors with past experience from other training are also welcome. (If you’ve never done improv before we recommend first taking Level 1) Class meets Wednesday nights from 7-8:30 (July 1st, 8th, 15th & 22nd) at Rhino Comedy Theater 22 Lafayette Ave, Suffern NY. Your class will also perform on a Friday night after the class is over - as openers for our regular monthly Improv show. Rhino Comedy Level 1 Improv Unlike Stand Up, Improv is a team sport. Through a series of interactive exercises and games, you'll learn the fundamental techniques of improvisation, such as scene building, character development and quick thinking. With each class, you'll gain confidence, sharpen your wit, and unleash your inner comic genius. This class is for adults with no experience and for repeat students who want to revisit the basics. Taught by veteran improvisers and led by acting teacher Maria Vail you’ll discover the secret weapons used by improvisors to create comedy scenes. Learn what makes GOOD improv and use your skills at our monthly jams. Classes are Wednesday nights 7-8:30 and will run June 3rd-24th Questions?
