Music in the Garden: “Night Hawk” in Concert UPSTATE ART WEEKEND Saturday, June 27, 2026; 5:30 PM – 9:00 PM Museum Garden Stage End the anniversary month on a high note with Night Hawk, an acclaimed indie band whose atmospheric original music draws direct inspiration from Hopper’s cinematic imagery. The evening begins with an intimate pre-concert reception celebrating 55 years of creative legacy, featuring the official unveiling of the new stage mural created by the museum’s Nighthawks Teen Leaders alongside young and emerging artists, in workshops led by esteemed master teaching artists from the area. At twilight, the band takes the stage while stunning projections by Kris Burns are shown on the Hopper House. Join us for this fitting finale to a month that proved art has no finish line. Hopper’s Way Solstice Dinner Sunday, June 21, 2026 (Rain Date: Sunday, June 28, 2026)5:30 PM – 9:00 PM “Hopper’s Way”: 82 North Broadway (in front of the Museum) Celebrate the Summer Solstice and Father’s Day as we close North Broadway (between 2nd and 3rd Avenues) to open “Hopper’s Way” for an unforgettable, open-air community feast and dining experience. Neighbors, artists, and patrons will gather at a grand, continuous table to honor the riverside village that shaped a young Edward Hopper’s eye and art, and to pay tribute to Win Perry, the legendary preservationist who helped save and restore the Hopper House for future generations. As dusk falls, the streetscape will transform with “Hopper Happens” façade projections by artist Kristina Burns. (This 55th Theme and related events take inspiration from the 2011 and 2012 “Hopper Happens” festival organized and curated by artist Burns in downtown Nyack.) Neighbors, art lovers, and visitors from near and far are invited to honor the landmark site through a series of special community events.
