Rockland County's chief law-enforcement agency, headquartered in New City. Runs the Police Division, Corrections (county jail), Civil Division, and Marine and Aviation units serving all five towns and 19 villages.

The New York State Police barracks serving Rockland County, part of Troop F, Zone 2. Despite the 'Haverstraw' name, the station is physically in Pomona and patrols state highways including the Thruway, I-287, and the Palisades Interstate Parkway.

A bi-state agency of the Palisades Interstate Park Commission patrolling the Palisades Interstate Parkway and adjacent state parks. The NY section operates from Pomona; the bi-state headquarters is in Alpine, NJ.
